I have originally created my customer's hosting account with a fake CC# (and I had no difficulty doing so). This account has free hosting, as I'm charging my customer separately, via FreshBooks.
I decided to test my gateway functionality, so I put in my business CC and purchased a domain, using my customer's account.
The gateway worked as expected, so I decided to flip the CC back to fake one.
When I went to edit the billing profile, after I put in the fake CC, it showed error "Bad CC" (which it didn't show when I created the account using a fake CC), but it still added the profile to the list.
When I tried to activate the newly added profile, I get error:
Error: Error processing credit card: The system has detected a failed transaction.<br> Please verify your credit card details. If they are correct, please retry in 0 hours 46 minutes. If they are incorrect, edit them or use a different credit card.
...I don't want to leave my own CC on this account, and I don't want to ask my customer for CC, so how can I put in a fake CC?
Or any other suggestion?
Thanks!
How can I remove all CCs from a customer's profile?

Hello,
If you have Paypal or checks enabled, add a profile with that option selected, which does not require them to use either, and then you can delete the real CC profile. You can also leave the profile to the paypal or checks profile if you want as it should work just like the fake cc profile did.
