A formal press release will be issued at some point soon. However, in the interim, we wanted to announce a deal with KSplice. KSplice provides rebootless linux updates - meaning higher availability for our customers as Linux patches and updates can now be done seamlessly, without the requirement for a physical reboot of a server, VPS or Cloud node.

We have been watching KSplice for quite some time, but, were waiting for full CloudLinux support before moving forward with it.

KSplice (and CloudLinux) are free value add's for all Cartika VPS, Dedicated and Cloud Customers. This includes BOTH Managed and Self Managed customers.

We have added this offering to our cartikaVPS.com and cartikaCloud.com websites - and will roll it out across all brands as we move forward here.

All existing managed customers will automatically have KSplice installed during our next round of server updates and patching (this will be announced shortly as well). Any existing Self Managed customer who would like KSplice, simply open a ticket with our support team and we will address the requests as they come in.

We consider this agreement to be a very significant one feel this is a very large value add on top of our existing services.

Thanks and please let us know if you have any additional questions

Fascinating! Please notify us of the press release so we can run it on eNews Park Forest.

Do I understand that this has already "happened" for those of us with a VPS?

Hello frodojrr - thank you for your comments and we certainly appreciate the effort to push out our press releases :)

Unfortunately - not yet :(

Do not be concerned though - we will be announcing linux upgrades and patching for ALL managed customers (shared servers as well) very shortly. There are a few things we need to do with this next round of updates - including installing KSplice. please stay tuned...
