Description of Work:
During the window specified above, Cartika Engineers will be working to redistribute backend resources of Cloud Pool 1 to optimize performance for VMs running in this pool. During this process, customers will notice minimal service disruption as cloud servers will be hot migrated where possible. A small percentage of non-centos/Windows cloud servers or cloud servers that have very large memory allocations may experience a brief reboot if they are unable to live migrate.

Service: Toronto Cloud Pool 2
Type: Scheduled Storage Maintenance
Expected Impact: 30-45mins per cloud server
Description of Work:
During the window specified on the above dates, Cartika Engineers will be working to migrate Toronto Cloud Pool 2 servers to new storage volumes to improve performance and reliability. Each cloud server will only be impacted once while it is moved to its new storage volume. Each customer will be notified immediately prior and after the maintenance on their specific cloud server is completed via our helpdesk.

Hello
Myself and Andrew will be providing live updates, pictures, etc for the move commencing today from Colo4 to Databank facilities.
We will be posting continual updates in this forum as well as on facebook and twitter.
The FIRST physical devices moving are our own - ie the servers housing our websites, our internal systems, etc, etc... During this period, customers services will not be impacted, just our own. We will be posting updates on facebook during this time until our own internal core services are back online

During the window specified above, Cartika Engineers will be completing network configuration changes in preparation for the upcoming Databank physical equipment migrations. We do not anticipate extended service disruption, although there may be periods of increased latency, packet-loss, and brief inaccessibility as routes re-converge during the maintenance window.
